The Wilkes County Welcome to Kindergarten Rally is for all students entering Kindergarten in August 2025. On Saturday, August 9th from 9-11am, come out to the West Park parking lot for information, resources and goodies! Attending uprising kindergarten students will receive a t-shirt and a new bookbag with information and activities to help get ready for school. Each of the Wilkes County elementary schools will be present along with a host of other community agencies sharing information about how each can serve students and families. All attending kindergarteners will also receive a FREE Kona Ice cup as well as a special ticket for a day of family fun! We look forward to seeing you there!
